DoD Non-Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)

The UAS listed below are considered as non-COTS systems designated by the Department of Defense (DoD) in the 8 Sep 21 “Guidance for Procedures for the Operation and Procurement of UAS”. The use and purchase of these systems are not subject to the 1 June 2018 Deputy Secretary of Defense memo, Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Implementation Guidance. This memorandum will be updated as required to add future systems that are considered non-COTS UAS IAW paragraph 3 of the 1 June 2018 Deputy Secretary of Defense memo.
